IAN Charitable Foundation
THE FOUNDATION
IAN Charitable Foundation is a notfor-profit establishment that works towards the financial & social inclusion of the differently-abled, underprivileged, and dependent community members of society. https://iancharitablefoundation.com The Foundation strives to ensure socioeconomic wealth and equity for these community members by offering vocational opportunities, and empowering them to build selfesteem while mainstreaming the
differently-abled community members.
We intend to remove any societal taboos which exist toward the differently-abled, underprivileged, and dependent community members.
OUR JOURNEY
IAN Charitable Foundation is a result of a long and challenging journey taken by Dr. Abhilash Joseph K and his spouse, Mrs. Rosemin Mathew after discovering that their firstborn, IAN has been diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. In their pursuit to provide their son, IAN with the best possible care, the parents became aware of society’s diverse set of challenges toward the differently-abled. With their learnings about the shortcomings of the existing standard of care and allied services available for the differently-abled community, IAN’s parents envisioned the ‘IAN Institute of Rehabilitation & Research’ (IAN IRR) to provide all rehabilitation services for the differently-abled under one roof.
The Institute continues to provide world-class rehabilitation services at affordable rates under the leadership of Dr. Ciju Ravindranath, a neurodevelopmental pediatrician and the Institute’s Medical Director.
Understanding the need for a sustainable change in society towards the inclusion and acceptance of the differently-abled, Dr. Abhilash and Mrs.Rosemin Mathew spearheaded the formation of the ‘IAN Charitable Foundation’
Ever since its inception, the Foundation has implemented various initiatives to support the differently-abled through rehabilitation, financial inclusion and vocational opportunities.
