Refund Policy
Online payment on the website
- The Website and App provide you the ability to pay online through a third-party payment gateway for some of the Services available on the Website or App.
- If you choose to pay online, you may be directed to a third-party payment gateway to enable processing of the payment. This transaction will be governed by the terms and conditions and privacy policy of the third-party payment gateway. IAN Institute of Rehabilitation and Research shall not be liable.
- if any transaction does not fructify or may not be completed or
- for any failure on part of the bank or the credit card or the third-party site or agency to perform any of its obligations or
- in respect of any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly arising out of the decline or acceptance of authorization for any transaction, for any reason whatsoever.
Cancellation and Refund Policy:
The cancellation and refund policy is only applicable to all online payments made through the mobile app and website for booking appointments.
In case cancellation is initiated by the end-user:
- Before Schedule Appointment Time- 100% of Consultation Fees will be refunded. However, please note that convenience fees will not be refunded.
- After the Scheduled Appointment Time- neither Consultation Fees nor Convenience Fees will be refunded.
- In case Cancellation is initiated by the relevant hospital due to the unavailability of a Doctor:
100% of consultation Fees and Convenience fees will be refunded to the end user.
At the time of cancellation, the amount will be refunded via the same source of payment and will be subject to the payment terms of the source only. Typically refunds are processed in 3 working days. Please note that we shall not be responsible for any delays in credit to the Cardholder’s credit card account/ accountholder’s bank account as that is managed by the Cardholder’s issuing bank.
Refund & Cancellation Policy for Internship / Training Programs
- Introduction
This Refund & Cancellation Policy governs the refund of fees paid towards internship and training programs conducted by the IAN Institute of Rehabilitation and Research (IRR), Muthuvara, Thrissur. The policy ensures transparency and fairness in processing refund requests. - General Terms
a) All fees paid towards internship or training programs are subject to the conditions outlined in this policy.
b) Applicants are advised to read and understand the terms before confirming admission or making payment.
c) Submission of the internship application and fee implies acceptance of this policy. - Eligibility for RefundSituation Refund Percentage Remarks

Cancellation or postponement by IRR 100% Full refund or option to transfer to next batch - Procedure for Requesting Refund
a) Refund requests must be submitted in writing to the Internship Coordinator or Administrative Office.
b) The application must include:
Participant’s full name and program title
Batch number / dates
Payment details and transaction proof
Reason for cancellation
Valid bank account details for refund transfer
c) Refunds will be processed within 15 working days from the date of management approval. - Non-Refundable Components
Registration or application fees (if applicable)
Administrative and material costs already incurred
Accommodation, food, or service charges once utilized
Any payment gateway or bank transaction charges - Exceptional Circumstances
In cases of medical emergencies, family bereavement, or other unavoidable situations, the management may consider a partial refund or credit transfer to a future batch upon submission of supporting documents. Approval in such cases is at the sole discretion of IRR management. - Mode of Communication

This policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Kerala, India. Any disputes arising from this policy shall fall under the jurisdiction of the courts in Thrissur District.
